Parents, or other who have responsibility for bringing
children to/from the kindergarten, should show the Blue
Cards provided by the kindergarten to the teachers. |
 |
Parents should always call and confirm with the kindergarten
in advance if bringing/collecting a child beyond the regular
hours. |
 |
Parents who wish to observe the class should report
to the office in advance, not view independently. |
|
All vehicles should not enter the kindergarten area. |
 |
Regular fire and earthquake drills are organized for
all staff and children on the campus. |
 |
Regular first-aid training courses are organized for
all staff. |
| Sickness during kindergarten hours |
|
If children are sick during the day, kindergarten clinic
nurses will attend to their immediate needs. If a child
should/need to go home, the kindergarten office would
contact parents. In the unlikely event of a child needing
hospital attention, there are clear guidelines for procedures.
Parents would always be contacted. |
 |
It is very important that up to date home and business
contact numbers, plus contact numbers of family friends
willing to assist, are given to the kindergarten. |
 |
It is also essential that parents provide relevant
information about their children’s health. (See
application form) |
| Medication |
| Occasionally, a child may be well enough
to return to the kindergarten, but needs to complete some
prescribed medication. If so, parents should give the
medication and complete the medication form. Only our
kindergarten clinic can dose out medicine to the child. |
